Pioneers of Electric Exhaust Control Technology

Quick Time Performance invented the original electric exhaust cutout over 20 years ago, revolutionizing how enthusiasts control their vehicle's sound and performance. Designed by racers for racers, QTP manufactures every component in-house at their New Jersey facility, ensuring American-made quality backed by decades of innovation. Each system undergoes rigorous bench testing and track validation before reaching customers, delivering proven power gains and total exhaust control.

The QTEC Electric Cutout System: Complete User Control

QTP's signature QTEC (Quick Time Electric Cutout) technology allows drivers to transform their exhaust character with the flip of a switch or push of a button. Constructed from CNC-machined 6061 aircraft aluminum bodies with stainless steel butterfly plates and shafts, these cutouts feature high-torque DC gear-driven motors with temperature-resistant steel gears for long-term durability. Available in sizes from 2.25" to 5.00" diameter, including standard round and low-profile oval designs for vehicles with limited ground clearance.

Control options include toggle switches, wireless remote systems with over 100-foot range, and One Touch remote controllers offering partial or wide-open operation. The built-in motor over-torque protection circuitry prevents damage while maintaining precise valve positioning anywhere between fully closed and wide open—allowing users to adjust back pressure for fuel economy or unleash maximum performance.

Aggressor Cutout Pipes: Vehicle-Specific Bolt-On Solutions

The Aggressor series represents QTP's vehicle-specific electric cutout pipe kits engineered for optimal clearance, sound, and power without custom fabrication. Each application is designed to utilize factory hanger locations, eliminating welding requirements on most installations. Popular Aggressor applications include:

Chevrolet Camaro SS (2016-2024): 6.2L LT1/LT4 applications with 304 stainless steel construction utilizing factory mounting points for straightforward installation.

Dodge Challenger/Charger/Chrysler 300C: Dedicated systems for 5.7L Hemi (2011-2024), 6.2L/6.4L Hellcat and Scat Pack (2015-2024) with dual mid-pipe configurations.

Ford Mustang: Compatible with various Mustang generations including Boss 302 butterfly kit applications (2012-2013).

Ram Trucks: Applications for Ram 1500 5.7L (2009-2018), Ram TRX 6.2L (2021-2024), and Ford Ranger 2.3L (2019-2022) with side-exit options.

Screamer TwinTronic Exhaust: Dual-Mode Performance

QTP's Screamer exhaust systems feature innovative dual-mode mufflers with single inlet and dual outlets. One outlet routes through a straight pipe with an electric valve on a 360-degree floating flange for total adjustability, while the second outlet passes through a muffled section. When valves open, exhaust flows unrestricted for maximum power and aggressive sound. Close the valves, and gases divert through the muffled path for quiet, civilized operation.

Available as complete cat-back systems or standalone muffler kits for custom applications, Screamer systems are constructed from 304 stainless steel and manufactured in the USA. Applications include Camaro SS 6.2L axle-back configurations with dual or quad tip options, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk cat-back systems, and universal 2.5" and 3.0" oval mufflers for custom builds.

AR3 Race Mufflers: Born from Competition Programs

The AR3 muffler line emerged from QTP's own racing initiatives to address the need for compact, high-flow mufflers meeting track noise requirements without sacrificing power. These mufflers feature low-profile designs for superior ground clearance, dual-flow perforated internal baffles minimizing resonance, and high-temperature sound-absorbing materials. Fully TIG-welded 304 stainless steel construction ensures longevity from tuner cars to full-bore V8 applications.

The AR3 Crawler cat-back system for Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018) exemplifies this technology, delivering race muffler performance with manageable sound levels while maintaining off-road capability through strategic low-profile placement that dumps before the rear axle.

Eliminator Exhaust Systems: Straightforward Performance Gains

QTP's Eliminator series provides cost-effective performance through muffler delete designs—straight pipe replacements eliminating restrictive factory mufflers. These bolt-on systems deliver immediate sound enhancement and back-pressure reduction without the complexity or cost of valve-controlled systems, ideal for dedicated track vehicles or enthusiasts seeking permanent exhaust modifications.

Universal Compatibility and Professional Engineering

Beyond vehicle-specific applications, QTP's universal QTEC systems accommodate any car or truck from classic muscle to modern imports. The extensive accessory lineup includes Y-pipes for single-to-dual configurations, adjustable turn-downs with 360-degree floating flanges for custom exhaust routing, flanges, gaskets, and replacement hardware. Computer-controlled manufacturing processes ensure consistent quality and precise fitment across the product range.
