Collection: ISR Performance
ISR Performance Exhaust Systems - Blending Quality with Affordability
Formerly known as ISIS Performance NA, LLC for six years, the company rebranded to ISR Performance Parts, LLC in November 2015. The original name honored ISIS, the Egyptian goddess and mother of all creation, but the company made the difficult decision to rebrand after the name became associated with international terrorism. In a show of customer commitment, ISR offered free branded decals to all previous customers to replace their old product branding—demonstrating the company's dedication to its customer base during the transition.
Core Philosophy - Track-Tested Affordability
ISR Performance Products was developed to fill a much-needed voice in the sport compact aftermarket. Through years of extensive research, design, and on-track testing, ISR Performance is dedicated to providing high-quality products at amazing prices. The company's core research and design philosophy starts with extensive on-track testing to blend affordability and quality with their products.
All ISR products are thoroughly tested on vehicles both on and off the track prior to being released to the public. ISR knows what they are selling—getting it right the first time through decades of combined knowledge and experience. As a result, ISR passes their savings onto consumers. At the end of the day, ISR Performance offers products that fill a void in the sport compact industry: they blend quality with affordability. Guaranteed.
Exhaust System Product Lines
GT Series (Grand Touring): The ISR Performance GT Single exhaust represents the company's most popular line, offering the best combination of sound, fitment, and value. GT systems are Y-pipe back exhausts made of mandrel-bent stainless steel to ensure the highest reliability and quality. Features include brushed stainless steel piping with high-polished stainless steel mufflers and 4.5" tips. The GT series includes both resonator and muffler configurations generating an aggressive but not overbearing exhaust note suitable for street driving.
RC Series (Race Competition): The ISR RC Series exhaust system is designed to offer the most aggressive tone possible from an exhaust system. These stainless steel cat-back exhaust systems feature a no-muffler straight-through design for a bolt-on replacement that delivers maximum flow and race-level sound. The RC Series is ISR's loudest option, intended for competition use and enthusiasts who prioritize maximum performance and aggressive sound over street civility.
Street Series: Positioned between the GT and RC lines, the Street Series offers enhanced performance with a more moderate sound level than the full race RC systems. These cat-back exhausts provide the perfect balance for daily drivers who want noticeable performance gains without the extreme volume of race-spec systems.
Circuit Spec Series: Featured on select applications like the Mazda MX-5 NC, the Circuit Spec systems utilize 2.5" brushed stainless steel piping and flanges with polished stainless steel mufflers and 4" tips. These systems deliver nice mellow notes throughout the RPM range while maintaining performance characteristics.
Popular Vehicle Applications
Nissan 350Z (Z33 2003-2008): ISR offers multiple exhaust configurations specifically designed for the VQ35DE-powered 350Z. The GT Single exhaust is designed and made specifically for the Z33 chassis to ensure perfect fitment and optimal ground clearance—unlike other exhausts that use extensions to adapt from other platforms. Systems feature full 3" mandrel-bent stainless steel construction with Y-pipe back designs.
Nissan 370Z (Z34 2009-2020): Continuing the tradition of making one of the most popular, best-sounding, and best-fitting exhausts on the market for the Z chassis, ISR offers GT Single systems with brushed stainless steel piping. The 370Z application utilizes 2.75" stainless steel Y-pipe sections with bellowed flex sections running from the 2-bolt catalytic converter, ensuring durability and fitment.
Nissan Z (RZ34 2023+): ISR has developed exhaust systems for the latest generation Z, maintaining their reputation for exceptional fitment and sound quality on the Z platform.
Infiniti G35 Coupe/Sedan (2003-2007): GT Single exhaust systems designed specifically for both coupe and sedan variants. The coupe-specific design ensures perfect fitment and optimal ground clearance for that chassis, avoiding the poor-fitting adaptations common with generic systems. Customer feedback confirms perfect fitment with original catalytic converters, delivering moderate sound at idle with deep bass under acceleration.
Infiniti G37 Coupe/Sedan (2008-2013) & Q60: Complete exhaust lineup for the VQ37VHR-powered G37 in both RWD and AWD configurations. Systems include Y-pipe components and complete cat-back options.
Infiniti Q50 (2014+): Exhaust systems available for both VQ37 and VR30 twin-turbo engines, featuring GT Single configurations with proper fitment for this platform.
Hyundai Genesis Coupe (2010-2016): Comprehensive exhaust options for both 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.8L V6 engines. The RC Series Race exhaust for the 2.0T is a true race-type straight pipe system featuring straight 3" diameter piping to single 4.5" tips. Combined with ISR O2 housing and ISR downpipe, this system produces +18hp gains. The 3.8L V6 applications feature straight 3" diameter piping with resonator and muffler for aggressive but street-usable sound.
Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota 86 (2013-2020) & GR86/BRZ (2022+): Stainless steel single GT exhaust systems engineered for the FA20 and FA24 boxer engines, providing enhanced flow and sound for these naturally aspirated platforms.
Lexus IS200/IS300 (XE10 1999-2005): MBSE Single Exit exhaust systems designed for the 2JZ-GE and 1G-FE engines.
Lexus GS300 (1998-2005): GT Dual exhaust systems featuring twin-outlet configurations for the 2JZ-GE inline-six platform.
Nissan 240SX (S13 1989-1994, S14 1995-1998): Multiple configurations including 3" EP (Exhaust Piping) straight pipes with dual tips, providing SR20DET and KA24DE owners with high-flow exhaust solutions.
Nissan Skyline (R32 GTS-T): GT Single full 3" brushed stainless steel exhaust with 4.5" tip and removable silencer for RB20DET applications.
Mazda MX-5 (NC 2006-2015): Circuit Spec 3-piece systems featuring 2.5" brushed stainless steel construction.
Engineering & Construction Quality
ISR Performance utilizes mandrel-bent stainless steel construction throughout their exhaust lines to ensure maximum flow efficiency without the restrictions of crush-bent piping. Mandrel bending maintains consistent pipe diameter through bends, eliminating turbulence and flow restrictions that reduce performance.
Y-pipe sections feature bellowed flex sections for durability and vibration absorption, with 2-bolt or 3-bolt flanges depending on application. High-polished stainless steel mufflers provide both aesthetic appeal and corrosion resistance. Tips are available in brushed stainless steel or burnt titanium finishes ranging from 4" to 4.5" diameters.
Removable silencers are available on select applications, providing users the option to adjust sound levels for different driving scenarios—perfect for cars that serve dual duty as street and track vehicles.
Value Proposition & Market Position
ISR Performance's fundamental business model focuses on eliminating unnecessary markups while maintaining quality standards. By combining decades of industry experience with efficient manufacturing and thorough testing protocols, ISR delivers products at price points significantly below competitors without sacrificing reliability or performance.
The company's commitment to pre-release testing means products arrive to customers proven and refined rather than requiring field testing or multiple revisions. This "get it right the first time" approach reduces warranty claims and customer frustration while building brand loyalty.
Installation & Fitment
ISR exhaust systems are engineered as direct bolt-on replacements using OEM mounting points and flange locations. No cutting, welding, or fabrication is required for proper installation. Systems include all necessary hardware and gaskets for complete installation.
Application-specific designs ensure proper ground clearance and avoid clearance issues with suspension components, differential housings, or chassis components. Unlike universal or adapted systems, ISR's vehicle-specific engineering eliminates fitment surprises.
