AWE Tuning (Air and Water Enterprises) has been engineering award-winning performance exhaust systems near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since 1991. Founded by Todd Sager in a 100 square-foot garage working on MKII GTIs and air-cooled Volkswagens, AWE has grown into a 900+ employee powerhouse shipping precision-engineered performance products worldwide from their state-of-the-art American manufacturing facility.

SwitchPath™ Exhaust: AWE's valved exhaust technology that gives you the best of both worlds. SwitchPath systems utilize electronically-controlled valves that allow drivers to switch between refined Touring-mode sound and aggressive Track-mode volume from the cockpit. Retains factory valve motors for seamless integration with vehicle driving modes.

Patented 180 Technology®:

AWE's breakthrough drone-canceling innovation that separates their exhausts from all competitors. Traditional performance exhausts create problematic drone frequencies (typically 1000-2200 RPM range) that cause cabin fatigue on long drives. AWE's 180 Technology uses vehicle-specific Helmholtz resonators with strategically-located reflection chambers and ports. These chambers generate sound waves that are precisely 180 degrees out-of-phase with drone frequencies, actively canceling the unwanted noise while preserving the aggressive exhaust note.

The result: AWE exhausts deliver deep, powerful sound under acceleration without the headache-inducing drone that plagues other performance exhausts. Each system is acoustically tuned specifically for its platform, ensuring optimal performance and comfort.
